AS9100D — The default entry ticket for the aerospace and defence supply chain. Most primes will not place flight-hardware work with a shop that does not hold it, because it is the evidence that the process which made part number one is the same process that will make part five hundred. more
IATF 16949 — Not an aerospace standard, but a genuine signal of process discipline at volume. A shop holding both IATF 16949 and AS9100D usually has real statistical process control. more
