National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program · issued by PRI
What it certifies
Accreditation of SPECIAL PROCESSES rather than the company as a whole — heat treatment, welding, non-destructive testing, chemical processing, coatings, cable and harness assembly, composites.
Why a buyer should care
The one to look for on processes whose quality cannot be checked by looking at the finished part. You cannot inspect a bad heat treat or a bad crimp from the outside, so the process itself is audited instead. Always ask WHICH process is accredited — NADCAP is never company-wide.
These are claims published by the suppliers themselves. We have not seen the certificates. Always ask for a current certificate and its scope before placing work.
