4 of 4 commercial details are missing. Suppliers publish specifications but almost never publish price or lead time — we request these directly and add them as they arrive.
Devices that start, stop, throttle or isolate the flow of a fluid or gas. Needle valves give fine, repeatable throttling; ball valves give fast on/off; check valves permit flow in one direction only.
Used in: Instrumentation and impulse lines, pressure gauge isolation, sampling systems, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, propellant and pressurant feed lines, ground support and test rigs.
What changes for space and defence: For flight and propellant service the deciding factors are leak rate under vacuum, material compatibility with the propellant, and cleanliness for oxygen service. A valve rated for 6,000 psig industrial duty is not automatically fit for a cryogenic or oxygen line.
What actually decides the purchase: Maximum working pressure · port size and end connection · body material · seat and stem tip type · temperature range · leak rate · Cv
