Combustion chamber suppliers in India

component · Thrust chamber assembly

The pressure vessel in which propellant burns. Usually a copper-alloy liner carrying regenerative cooling channels inside a structural jacket.

What decides the purchase: Chamber pressure · throat diameter · characteristic length L* · contraction ratio · coolant channel geometry · wall temperature

Typical materials: CuCrZr and NARloy-Z copper alloys for the liner; Inconel 718/625 or electroformed nickel for the jacket

Typical processes: Laser powder bed fusion, electroforming, brazing, EB welding, milled channel and close-out

What changes when it has to fly: Life is set by low-cycle thermal fatigue in the liner. Coolant channel dimensional accuracy is the whole game — additive manufacture is used because the channels cannot be drilled.
